How to install Nadeemi on any device

Last checked:

Nadeemi is not in the App Store or Google Play yet. It installs straight from your browser as a web app: it gets its own icon, opens in its own window, works on a slow connection and can send notifications. It is the same Nadeemi you use in the browser, so your account and settings come with you.

Fastest way: open nadeemi.com/download on the device you want to use and tap Install Nadeemi. If there is no button, follow the steps for your device below. Menu names can differ slightly between browser versions.

How do I install Nadeemi on Android?

  1. Open nadeemi.com/download in Chrome, Edge or Samsung Internet.
  2. Tap Install Nadeemi. No button? Open the browser menu (⋮) and tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
  3. Tap Install to confirm, then open Nadeemi from your home screen.

How do I install Nadeemi on iPhone or iPad?

Apple allows app files only through its App Store, so on iPhone and iPad Nadeemi runs as a Home Screen web app.

  1. Open nadeemi.com/download in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow).
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. Keep Open as Web App on, then tap Add.
  4. Open Nadeemi from your Home Screen, then turn on notifications in the app's Settings.

Notifications on iPhone need iOS 16.4 or newer and work only after you add Nadeemi to the Home Screen.

How do I install Nadeemi on Windows, Mac or Linux?

  1. Open nadeemi.com/download in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click Install Nadeemi, or the install icon at the right of the address bar.
  3. Or use the menu: Chrome: ⋮ > Cast, save and share > Install page as app. Edge: … > Apps > Install this site as an app.

Nadeemi then opens in its own window and appears in your Start menu or app list. On a Mac with Safari 17 or newer you can also choose File > Add to Dock. Firefox on computers cannot install web apps yet; open the page in Chrome or Edge instead.

How do I turn on notifications?

Open Nadeemi, go to Settings and switch notifications on; your browser asks once. Notifications never show names or message text on the lock screen, only "New message" or "New activity", so a glance at your phone gives nothing away.

What about the warnings I might see?

Can I use Nadeemi on several devices?

Yes. Sign in on each device. The first time a new device opens your private messages, it asks to be approved from a device you already use (Settings > My message devices) or restored with your recovery code. That step is what keeps a stranger with your password out of your messages.
