Quick answers

Do I need a phone number? No. You join with an email address and a password. We never ask for a phone number.

Is there an app in the App Store or Google Play? Not yet. Nadeemi installs from your browser as an app (a "web app"), on phones and computers. It is the same Nadeemi, with its own icon and window. See how to install.

Is Nadeemi end-to-end encrypted? Private messages, group chats, Circles and voice notes are encrypted on your device with MLS (RFC 9420) before they leave it. We label them "end-to-end encryption coming" until an independent audit is published. Public posts are encrypted in transit and at rest, and our servers can read them, because they are public. Details: what we can and can't see.

Who can join? Adults 18 and over. Sign-up asks for your date of birth and stores nothing if you are under 18.

Does Nadeemi show ads or use AI on my posts? No ads, and no AI features. Nadeemi is funded by its members through a voluntary honesty box.

How do I delete my account? Settings > Delete my account, then type DELETE to confirm. You can download your data first (Settings > Download my data).

I forgot my password. On the sign-in page tap "Forgot password?" and we email you a link. A new password does not unlock old encrypted messages on a new device; for that you need a recovery code or one of your existing devices.
