Does Facebook show ads and use my data?
Yes, ads are the business. Meta reported US$196.175 billion of advertising revenue in 2025, up from US$160.633 billion in 2024 (Meta Form 10-K). From 16 December 2025 Meta also uses people's conversations with Meta AI to personalise ads (The Register, 1 Oct 2025). Nadeemi has no advertisers, so there is nothing to target.
Does Facebook train AI on my posts?
In the EU, Meta said it would use public posts and comments from adult users to train its AI models from 27 May 2025, unless people object with a form; private messages were excluded (Euronews, 13 May 2025). Nadeemi has no AI features and does not train models on what you post.
Is Messenger encrypted?
Personal one-to-one chats and calls, yes: Meta began making them end-to-end encrypted by default on 6 December 2023, in a rollout that took months (Meta). Group coverage varies; check the label in each chat. More in Is Messenger encrypted? Nadeemi encrypts private chats, group chats and Circles on your device with MLS, labelled "end-to-end encryption coming" until an independent audit.
